CURRENT PROJECTS

This page contains information on some of our upcoming projects. There may only be a small number of projects on this page at any one time, but don’t despair! We’ve always got a mountain load of projects in development! The projects on this page are only the ones that we feel happy about discussing with the world. So, have a look around and see if anything grabs your attention. And keep coming back, as more of our projects graduate from the boardroom to the website…

THERE’S A HIPPOPOTAMUS ON OUR ROOF EATING CAKE

We are currently working with the amazingly talented Jaime Snyder and Joel Sharpe on their short film adaptation of the children’s well-loved book, There’s a Hippopotamus on our Roof Eating Cake. Chris Hocking has been working with them in a consulting capacity, and helped them secure an incredible partnership with The Creature Technology Company, who built all the photo-realistic hippo elements for the film, amongst other things.
During principle photography we also supplied them with lighting, grip and audio equipment, as well as providing on-set technical support and advice. We will also be playing a big part in the post production stages.
Jessica Lawton (editor) and Lachlan Harris (sound design) are currently hard at work, piecing the story together. More information will be available once he resurfaces! For further information, and to view a trailer of the film, please check out the pocket bonfire productions site (which incidentally Chris actually threw together):

SAVE THE CITY

We are currently working with incredibly talented Julian Burak and James Gallichio, putting together a innovative online video show called Save the City.
We have supplied all the camera, lighting, grip and audio equipment for this production, as well as providing technical support and assistance.

TOP TO TOP DOCUMENTARY

TOPtoTOP is one families journey to travel to the seven highest peaks of each continent, using only the power of nature and human force! This story joins them in the ROLEX Sydney-Hobart Yacht Race, while talking about their journey from Mt Blanc in Europe, to Aconcagua in South America, and from Aconcagua to Mt Kosciusko in Australia.
Only 7 years into their 14 year adventure, you can join Dario and Sabine with their two kids, Salina and Andri, on a mission to save the planet from Global Warming. THIS is that story. Their Journey. FROM TOP to TOP!
Jacqui Hocking is currently still filming content for a TOPtoTOP documentary, although the first stages are now available on DVD to purchase. She is also putting together a blog documenting her travels.

SAKOOZ (FEATURE FILM)

We are currently in the process of developing a feature film script called SAKOOZ. Having recently completed the three minute teaser/trailer, we are now essentially going back to the drawing board, and having learnt from a lot of mistakes in putting together the trailer. We don’t have any idea when the feature film script will be finished – but we can tell you is that the concept is constantly growing, developing and progressing. Hopefully one day in the not-too-distant future we’ll actually have some quality words on the page, so that we can actually start making the epic film!
More information on the teaser/trailer can be found in the past projects section of this site.
